Summary / Objective Our client an MNC shipping company is looking for an Accountant you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Manager and Senior Accountant by managing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and timely submission of financial data.

Responsibilities

Review and prepare subsidiaries' management accounts Compile group consolidation reports Conduct intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and adjustments Provide detailed financial analysis, variance explanations, and insights Approve documents in ERP systems according to workflow processes Handle GST review and submissions Coordinate and act as liaison with auditors during audits Resolve audit queries and manage audit timelines efficiently Prepare financial statements, audit reports, and notes to accounts Support annual returns and statutory filings Prepare tax schedules and assist with corporate tax filings Assist with transfer pricing documentation Contribute to system implementations Provide administrative support and additional ad hoc tasks as required Competencies Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to prioritize and multitask under pressure to meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Professionalism and strong ethical standards Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline Minimum 5 years experience managing full set of accounts across multiple entities Good knowledge of accounting principles and terminology Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion Strong numerical aptitude and experience with spreadsheets and financial reports Excellent organizational and time management skills Benefits Chan Chee Meng EA 07C3069 R1110620
