Maintenance Worker

Hilton Resorts Corporation is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician I to join our team at the Maintenance Eilan Hotel & Spa in San Antonio, TX. Your role

will involve a variety of tasks, from responding to guest requests and performing basic repairs to assisting with larger maintenance projects. Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and maintenance issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work, following safety protocols. Assist senior technicians and engineers in larger maintenance projects, learning and gaining hands-on experience.

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with hotel standards and regulations. Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors, providing updates and resolving any concerns.

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and stay updated with industry best practices. Work collaboratively with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Front Office, to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, representing the Hilton brand with pride and enthusiasm. High school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Previous experience in a maintenance or hospitality role is an asset but not essential for entry-level candidates.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-centric approach. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is beneficial. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the hotel's operational needs.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry moderate weights. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with maintenance management software is an advantage. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required for certain tasks.
