Lecturer – Operations and Information Technology Management

  • Haas School of Business The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley is generating an applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach courses in Operations and Information Technology Management as a lecturer should an opening arise. The pool will remain in place for one year. General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include:
  • Holding office hours
  • Assigning grades
  • Advising students
  • Preparing course materials. Guided by a mission to develop leaders who redefine how we do business, Haas champions a culture anchored in its defining leadership principles. We support faculty by providing a collaborative scholarly community, mentorship, and strong support for teaching. Applicants are considered for positions as needs arise; the existence of this pool does not guarantee that a position is available. UC lecturers are academic appointees and are represented by an exclusive bargaining agent, University Council – American Federation of Teachers (UC-AFT). This position is represented by the bargaining unit. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
