This position will be responsible for promoting us to hospitals, physicians and prospective residents. Duties include educating people regarding the capabilities of our facility, visiting discharge planners and physician practices in their offices, hosting community events within the facility, making presentations to civic and community groups and developing presentation and promotional materials in support of these tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in the rehabilitation and long term care industry. We offer equal employment opportunity in a drug-free and smoke-free campus Qualifications: Qualifications Experience in healthcare as an admissions coordinator, social worker, discharge planner or similar position desired Experience in long term care, especially skilled nursing facilities desired Knowledge of the financial aspects of skilled nursing including Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance desired Knowledge in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook Personable with neat, professional appearance Must be flexible with hours and be willing to monitor email/voice messages 24/7 Excellent communication skills Self-starter and ability to work independently Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team Valid NC drivers license and reliable transportation
