- Phoenix, AZ: Instruction for our Fall Semester begins on September 8, 2026, and ends on December 20, 2026 – Final Course Grades are due on December 27, 2026 Courses: English Composition I This is a writing-intensive course in writing academic prose, including various types of essays, arguments, and constructions.
What You Will Do
Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions Engage students in learning course objectives and topics Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University What You Will Bring: Preferred: PhD in English OR Composition OR Writing OR Professional Writing OR Rhetoric Minimum: Master’s in the above areas Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master’s in any field AND 18-graduate credits in English AND substantial teaching experience Before submitting your application, please attach the following to review : Your unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above Your unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees #gcu #highered #faculty #phoenix #english #composition #englishcomposition #writing #professionalwriting #rhetoric #INDLOPESUP
