Role Description JOB TITLE Social Innovation Teacher DEPARTMENT Academic – Social Innovation LOCATION Shanghai LINE MANAGEMENT Head of Social Innovation OBJECTIVES To support the school’s student social innovation and service-learning programmes, tutoring students from real-world problem exploration to tested solutions.

Lead on the prototyping and testing of student solutions, and to support AI-enabled innovation across student projects. To assist with curriculum development, student competition and award coaching, teacher training, and related administrative work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Student Tutoring & Mentoring Tutor student teams through the full innovation cycle: exploring community issues, developing solutions, taking action, and reflecting and iterating — with a clear focus on ideation and prototyping of solutions. Provide regular one-on-one and group tutoring for student-led social innovation and service-learning projects.

Support milestone meetings, goal setting, and reflection sessions with student teams.
