Dental Assistant Location: Norfolk, VA 23510 | Full-Time Konikoff Family Dentistry

• Brambleton is looking for a driven, experienced Dental Assistant to join our Brambleton team. You'll work alongside skilled providers across a full range of services in a fast paced, patient focused environment where your skills are valued and your growth is supported. Clinical Responsibilities Provide expert chairside assistance to our dentists across a full range of procedures Assist across our complete scope of services: preventive dentistry, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, family dentistry, pediatric dentistry, implant dentistry, implant restorations, endodontics, oral surgery, periodontal disease treatment, clear aligner treatment, mouth guards, and emergency dentistry Take and process digital X-rays and intraoral images in compliance with Virginia state regulations Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols Set up operatories and ensure all instruments, materials, and equipment are fully prepared before every appointment Ensure patient comfort and provide calm, compassionate support throughout every phase of treatment Take dental impressions and assist with lab tasks as directed Provide post-treatment instructions and patient education on oral hygiene and home care Track dental supply inventory and process orders as needed Prepare, enter, and track lab cases from submission through delivery Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in Dentrix in full compliance with HIPAA Administrative Support (as needed) Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out Schedule and confirm appointments using Dentrix Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries professionally and warmly Support billing and additional office tasks as directed What Makes You a Great Fit Virginia Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification required Minimum 2 years of experience as an RDA required Dentrix proficiency required Current CPR certification required Completion of an approved Virginia radiation safety and radiography course required per state regulations Strong attention to detail in clinical work, documentation, and operatory preparation Calm, patient-centered presence that puts patients at ease Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients of all ages and backgrounds Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-provider environment Self-managing work ethic Positive, collaborative team player who contributes to a warm and professional practice culture What We Offer Competitive wage commensurate with experience and credentials Health and welfare benefits package Medical, dental, and vision coverage options Company-paid life insurance 401(k) with annual employer match Paid time off and paid holidays Access to a full suite of elective benefits Overjet AI-assisted imaging and the latest dental technology in a well-equipped, modern practice Broad clinical exposure across a true full-service practice including pediatric dentistry, endodontics, implants, oral surgery, and more A warm, established team culture with a loyal Norfolk patient base built over decades Continuing education support to keep your credentials and skills current Ready to bring your skills to one of Norfolk's most trusted dental practices?
