Book Department Staff (Part-Time) Flagstaff

Job Responsibilities

Responsible to contribute toward regular and efficient circulation of books in the store by effectively purchasing, pricing, and stocking merchandise. All duties are performed with a commitment to actively serve customers and employ the Bookmans Way. Job Requirements:

• Provide exceptional customer service at all times
• Sort and organize incoming merchandise
• Price incoming books
• Stock books to shelves
• Maintain pricing consistency
• Maintain alpha/presentation on shelves
• Maintain knowledge of current stock on hand
• Fill Request List items
• Evaluate books (and other merchandise) for purchase at incoming counter
• Explain and negotiate (as necessary) deals with customers
• Maintain knowledge of current market trends
• Perform other duties as assigned by management This position is Part-time (less than 32 hours per week). Applications for this position will be accepted through Sunday, October 18, 2026.
