Paralegal

Talis Group's company client is a Louisville Civil Defense Litigation firm. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in building a long-term career in litigation. They provide comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and ongoing mentorship in a supportive, professional environment.

This is a full time position with benefits. Salary: $45,000-$55,000. Highlighted Responsibilities: Assist attorneys with day-to-day case management for civil defense litigation matters. Prepare, organize, and maintain electronic and physical case files. Draft and proofread routine legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings under supervision.

Assist with discovery requests and responses, document review, and production. Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings. Perform court filings and monitor deadlines. Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel. Provide general administrative and litigation support as needed.

Highlighted Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); legal software experience a plus but not required.
