Service Technician/HGV Driver (Waste Systems Sector)

Overview

Our client is seeking a reliable and dependable individual to join their team as a Service Technician/HGV Driver in Barbados. The successful candidate will assist with daily service operations, vehicle operation and related duties while delivering a high standard of customer service. Full training will be provided. Duties & Responsibilities: Operate heavy goods vehicles in the delivery of waste management services.

Assist with the collection, removal and disposal of waste materials. Carry out assigned service duties in a safe and efficient manner. Handle and lift medium to heavy materials as required. Provide professional and courteous customer service. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Requirements

Valid HGV license (essential). Good customer service and communication skills. Physically fit and able to lift medium to heavy weights. Reliable, responsible and hardworking. Willingness to learn and undertake full training. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
