Asphalt Plant Operator

General Info Job Type: Full-Time Minimum Years of Experience Required: Entry Level Minimum Years of Education Required: High School/GED Must be Authorized to work in the US This position is responsible for the daily operation of Asphalt Plant controls. Job functions include operation of the control panel, coordinating trucking operations at the plant with the Superintendent, manage the loader operation at the plant, and ensuring efficient, safe operation of the plant activities.

Responsibilities include

• Perform daily equipment inspection. * Safely and efficiently operate the Asphalt plant controls. * Ensure proper mix design. * Monitor and adjust production levels based upon the Superintendent's needs. * Coordinate truck flow on the job. * Assist the tear down and set up of the plant when moving. * Calibrate the plant as needed.

• Accurately complete plant documentation. * Ensure the safe operation of the entire plant site.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Asphalt Plant operation is highly desired. * Must possess excellent communication skills. * Electrical experience is beneficial. * Must be able to manage and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. * A valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record.
