Searcys are looking for a Restaurant Manager to join the team at the Inner Temple. As the Restaurant Manager, you will ensure the effective management and efficient service and operations for Pegasus Bar and Restuarant from Monday to Friday. The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple situated on the banks of the Thames, is one of the few remaining Georgian style event halls in the City of London.

Contract – 42.5 hours Hours: Monday to Friday only Key Responsibilities: To confidently lead and manage the team with a hands-on approach in the absence of the Bar and Restaurant Manager To consistently monitor the practice of all SOPs and requirements across the Bar and Restaurant, including opening and closing schedules Daily reporting and monitoring of revenue forecast versus actual sales To liaise with Cellar Manager to ensure drinks stocks are always maintained and rotated To assist with the coordination of internal and external stock audits Ensuring all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to Assisting with the induction of new team members To attend new menu tastings offering constructive input Minimum of 1 year in a Management role, working in a members' facility (desirable) Personal Licence (desirable) Level 2 Food Safety Certificate Experience using at least one EPOS system for ordering and reconciliation Strong leadership skills Excellent communication skills Takes initiative and demonstrates high level of organisation Supportive team player We are the oldest caterer in the UK, having been founded in 1847, working with us will give you an opportunity to be part of some of London’s most prestigious events, gaining insights and mentoring from skilled and experienced colleagues, as well as getting a chance to be part of a storied legacy in the hospitality industry.
