This role involves receiving incoming shipments, verifying product quantities and conditions, and preparing outgoing shipments for delivery. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Unload incoming shipments from trucks or carriers. Verify quantities and conditions of received materials against purchase orders. Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies. Enter receiving data into the inventory management system. Prepare outgoing shipments for delivery, including packing, labeling, and loading.

Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or shipping carriers. Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area. Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred. Basic math and computer skills. Ability to lift heavy objects. Attention to detail and accuracy. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach.

Preferred Qualifications

Forklift operator certification. Experience with shipping software.
