The Muscatine location is a barge dock that is located on the Upper Mississippi River (at river mile 451.2). About this position Key duties will include loading/unloading trucks, railcars and barges with a variety of chemical products.

This position will be at our Muscatine, IA location Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities): Unload barges, tank cars and tank trucks with a variety of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals. Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork associated with the manufacturing/unloading/loading operations.

Contribute to safety and quality meetings. Identify maintenance work and work with the Terminal or Manufacturing Supervisors to facilitate repairs as necessary. Perform incidental maintenance work on equipment as needed. Perform minor maintenance work on buildings and property as needed. General housekeeping of work area and other misc.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Completed High School degree Chemical manufacturing and/or distribution experience a plus. Must be able to read/write/speak English Must be proficient in basic mathematics Must be able to pass a position based physical fitness test Other Preferred Knowledge/Experience Experience with driving OTR trucks either on the road or in a plant environment a plus.

Experience with Safety and/or Quality programs Experience handling Chlor-Alkali, or other hazardous materials a plus.
