Account Manager - Commercial Lines

Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage and service a book of middle market clients. This role partners with Producers to deliver proactive, strategic service, ensure accurate policy management, and support strong client retention and growth.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for middle market clients, building strong, long-term relationships
• Manage the full renewal process, including strategy, marketing, proposals, and binding
• Prepare applications, exposure data, and submission materials 120+ days in advance
• Review policies, endorsements, audits, and cancellations for accuracy and coverage
• Collaborate with carriers and underwriters to negotiate terms and resolve complex issues
• Identify coverage gaps and recommend solutions aligned with client needs
• Support Producers with client meetings and renewals
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage service timeline in a fast-paced environment
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and round out accounts Qualifications
• 3-5+ years of Commercial insurance experience (middle market preferred)
• Active Property & Casualty license required
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and markets.
• Experience managing complex accounts and renewal strategies
• Proficiency with an agency management system (EPIC, AMS360, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
