Clinical Manager 3 East

40 Hours per week Day Shift Job Summary: Supervises nursing care rendered to patients including the monitoring of safety, quality, compassion and accountability. Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates daily operations of the nursing unit. Participates in the hiring, orientation, staffing and supervision of the unit staff.

This position functions as second in command of the assigned nursing unit. Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program is preferred upon hire but must be enrolled in program within three years of hire with degree completed within five years of position hire date.

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state is also required. BLS Certification is required. ACLS certification is preferred within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months. Certification in area of expertise is preferred. Avade workplace violence prevention training ( Level III) required after hire or transfer, not to exceed 3 months, and maintained annually.

Training provided in-house. EXPERIENCE : Three to five years of experience in nursing with demonstrated leadership skills is required.
