Business Intelligence Analyst (AI & Data Analytics)

Data analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the Shopee cross-border business organisation AI-augmented support: Support senior leads in implementing AI initiatives that drive internal productivity and predictive business modelling Efficiency via AI agents: Utilise and build internal AI agents to automate repetitive data tasks and streamline team workflows Smart reporting: Evolve traditional BI dashboards into intelligent dashboards by incorporating predictive features and automated insight summaries Data product support: Collaborate with stakeholders to provide data support for AI-assisted simulation models and decision-support tools KPI reporting: Maintain data integrity and streamline data processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics) Min 1 year of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering; experience within e-commerce or social media is preferred A demonstrated track record of using AI to improve personal or team productivity is highly desirable Proficiency in SQL and Python, particularly for data manipulation and automation Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Looker Studio Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts (e.

g. regression, clustering, forecasting) Hands-on experience with agent-building tools or frameworks, and familiarity with LLMs (e.g. OpenAI API, Claude) and prompt engineering for data analysis is preferred Comfortable working in a supporting role within a dynamic, evolving environment Able to explain technical outputs and data insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and propose practical, including AI-augmented, solutions
