This support may include helping the individual accomplish activities of daily living including but not limited to eating, toileting, dressing, bathing, transferring, and ambulation, while encouraging as much independence as possible.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required At least 18 years of age First Aid/CPR certification Completion of TB screening and testing Completion of Physical including transportation/transfer addendum Safe driving record, current driver’s license, personal vehicle, and current motor vehicle liability insurance required, ability to successfully pass criminal background checks Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities are based upon the needs of the individual supported and may vary depending on their unique needs and goals Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.

Support clients in developing and achieving personal goals. Encourage community involvement and social interaction. Maintain accurate documentation and reports regarding client progress and incidents. Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients. Collaborate with team members, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
