Forklift Mechanic – $30/hr | Mon–Fri | Full-Time Opportunity (NOT A DRIVER POSITION)

Description We’re Hiring a Forklift Mechanic – Not a Forklift Driver! Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves keeping equipment running at its best? We’re looking for a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team. Instead of driving forklifts, you’ll be the expert who keeps them in top working condition while also handling general facility maintenance.

This is a great opportunity for experienced mechanics, maintenance technicians, or anyone with strong equipment repair skills who’s ready to grow with a dependable company. What You’ll Do Diagnose, maintain, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment (no forklift driving required). Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical (AC/DC) systems.

Maintain and repair dock doors, dock levelers, and related facility equipment. Complete service logs and daily reports. Communicate part and inventory needs to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience as a forklift mechanic, industrial maintenance technician, or similar role. Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. High school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license required. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus! Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) HVAC troubleshooting Welding or fabrication Carpentry, painting, or light construction Experience with CMMS or digital work order systems Why Work With Us?
