• Part Time Pay Range: $17.56 - $20.18 Hourly GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under the general supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor and/or Facilities Supervisor. Performs a wide variety of custodial and maintenance tasks for Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority (SCCMHA) and its satellite locations to ensure a healthy, safe and sanitary environment. This position will be knowledgeable about and actively support culturally competent recovery based practices; person centered planning as a shared decision making process with the individual, who defines his/her life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals; and a trauma informed culture of safety to aid consumer in the recovery process. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent with courses in industrial arts. Valid Michigan Chauffeur’s license and maintain an excellent driving record. Experience: One (1) year of experience working in a business/healthcare setting as a custodian. Experience with equipment, machinery, light maintenance and repair including vehicle maintenance will be given preference . Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of custodial functions, cleaning chemicals and equipment, and basic maintenance. Mechanical skills. Basic reading and writing skills. Ability to communicate with individuals from all social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
