Site Coordinator

Join the South Shore YMCA as a Part-Time Afterschool Site Coordinator at the Laura Center for the Arts in Hanover! You will lead the planning and overall operation of a high quality afterschool program, serving participants, families, members, and volunteers while promoting YMCA core values and lifelong learning. Reports to the SACC Director.

Your Role

Program Management: Plan and run the afterschool site; maintain EEC licensing compliance and promote YUSA HEPA standards; provide reasonable accommodations for children with disabilities per EEC and ADA. Staff Engagement & Development: Supervise program staff and participants per YMCA policy, EEC regulations, and QRIS standards; monitor staff related EEC, QRIS, and YMCA requirements.

Membership Engagement & Development: Build relationships with families, respond to inquiries, solve problems, and engage new families. Facility Management: Keep facilities and equipment safe, clean, and well maintained. Volunteer Development: Engage and work with volunteers. Community Involvement & Support: Assist with YMCA fundraising events and build community partnerships.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older. Must meet EEC requirements for experience with school-age children: 1 year with a high school diploma, 9 months with an Associate's degree, or 6 months with a Bachelor's degree. Knowledge and experience with EEC regulations and QRIS preferred. Builds positive working relationships with staff, children, families, volunteers, and school administrators; addresses family concerns professionally.

Must meet EEC Educator PD requirements (PQ Registry). CPR and First Aid required and provided by the Y. Must pass background check: EEC background check including fingerprinting. Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and join active and outdoor activities, including swimming. Salary and Benefits: $18.

00 to $22.00 per hour. Sick time accrual: 1 hour per 30 hours worked. Complimentary individual YMCA membership. 25% discount on childcare. 50% camp discount for their children. Location & Shift Times: Laura Center for the Arts, 97 Mill Street, Hanover, MA. Part-time, 1:00 to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
