Software Engineer II

Job Summary

SEACORP's Platforms Business Area is seeking a Software Engineer II. The Software Engineer will work with a small product development team building high-reliability software for air-gapped tactical and post-mission environments. We emphasize individual accountability, initiative, and direct technical ownership from design through verification.

Job Responsibilities

Application Engineering: Design, maintain, and modernize Java/JavaFX tools and administrative GUIs serving remote, non-technical users across in-field and post-mission analysis environments; support migration to web-based services. Testing Simulation: Maintain, operate, and extend internal software utilities used for component testing and mission simulation.

Packaging Validation: Build, containerize (Podman), and validate software locally prior to release onto edge Kubernetes (K3s) infrastructure. Systems Integration: Diagnose host-level network sockets, OS behavior, and application issues within cybersecurity-hardened, STIG-compliant baselines.
