Insurance Agent

Provides service to clients' changing insurance needs by selling life, health, auto, homeowners and commercial insurance. Develops a base for long-term sources of clients. Compiles lists of prospects. Determines clients' particular needs and financial situations by scheduling fact-finding appointments and determining the extent of present coverage.

Ascertains clients' long-term goals. Obtains underwriting approval by completing applications for coverage. Completes coverage by delivering policy, planning future follow-up visits, and evaluating needs. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Enhances insurance agency reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of sales experience or 5 years of customer service. 0440 CSR license a plus. 0240 health insurance license a plus. Bilingual (English and Spanish fluency) Able to multitask. Able to handle large volumes of incoming and outgoing calls. Able to work on Saturdays. Salary $27,840 - $80,000 per year
