Position: Principal SDET Location: Torre Mitikah, CDMX Work Shift: On-Site, Monday through Friday 09:00 am to 06:00 pm Benefits:

  • Life Insurance Requirements:
  • BS in Computer science or related field or 13 years of technical experience as an SDE/T or similar role.
  • 12+ years of applied professional experience in an object-oriented programming language
  • Experience implementing software test automation in CI/CD processes (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux).
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Experience with backend testing (API testing).
  • Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of and experience in full development lifecycle, including code standards/reviews, source control processes, building and testing.
  • Experience developing and testing in Java.
  • Experience developing tests through Selenium libraries. Appium is nice to have.
  • Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and scaling test automation frameworks with a focus on extensibility, scalability, maintainability, and high performance.
  • Strong experience in developing and implementing End to End test strategies.
  • Prior work experience in and understanding Agile.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively across all levels.
  • Ability to take a proactive, problem-solving/trouble-shooting approach to identifying and solving problems. Key Responsabilities:
  • Hands- Design, develop, document, and maintain tools, test cases, and automation frameworks for current and next‑generation software platforms. Collaborate with Product Management, Software Engineering, DevOps, and other technical teams in release planning and coordination.
  • Interpret functional requirements and designs to plan, develop, write, execute, and automate functional and data validation test plans.
  • Work with engineering and infrastructure teams on strategy and maintenance of development and QA environments required for TDD/CI/CD.
  • Provide feedback and influence the design process to help build testable platforms, applications, and data models.
  • Design and implement quality, performance, and reliability from day one. Drive effective technical execution and communication as a member of Agile Scrum teams.
  • Document and communicate automation framework functions, interfaces, performance criteria, test cases, and results to diverse audiences.
  • Estimate effort, schedule tasks, and deliver according to agreed scope and development milestones to meet overall project deadlines.
  • Conduct defect management activities including issue identification, incident research, analysis, and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team on unit test reviews, diagnosis, resolution, and closure of issues.
  • Lead or collaborate on data analysis to determine data integrity and consistency, or root cause of problems.
  • Provide technical vision for assigned products.
  • Train engineers on new tools, methodologies, and technologies. Mentor engineers to foster personal and professional growth.
