Personal Care Assistant (Weekends)

Job Details: Job Location: 1699 WEST MOUND STREET

• COLUMBUS, OH, Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.00Hourly, Job Purpose:
• The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for performing personal care and homemaker services based on a nurse’s assessment of the client’s needs. This position is also responsible for providing respite and private duty care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal hygiene according to the client care plan.
• Taking and recording vital signs with accuracy.
• Completing required documents.
• Providing social interaction and emotional support to clients and/or caregivers.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: - 60-hour training or state tested nursing license Required Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of in-home care experience, either private duty or in a facility Required Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move clients
• Ability to lift 30 pounds using proper body mechanics
• Proficiency in taking and recording vital signs with accuracy
• Competency in completing required documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills for providing social interaction and emotional support to clients and caregivers
