Medical Assistant

Greater Maryland Pain Management, LLC is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and dependable Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must be organized, professional, patient-focused, and able to thrive in a high-volume medical environment. Candidates must be customer service driven with the goal of creating a positive experience for every patient we serve.

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication information
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Coordinate patient flow in a busy practice
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Review and reconcile medications
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
• Assist with telephone calls, messages, referrals, and prescription requests
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked clinical areas
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and practice policies
• Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed What We're Looking For:
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Pain management, orthopedic, or other specialty-practice experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred Benefits:
