Work Based Learning Student Worker

New Britain High School is accepting student applications for work-based learning internships. These opportunities are designed exclusively for NBHS students who are interested in gaining real-world experience aligned with their career interests. Anticipated Start Date: Work schedules will vary based on the nature and scope of the assigned project.

POSITION DETAILS Eligibility: Must be a current New Britain High School student Must have completed the Career Competency Workshops offered through the National Academy Foundation (NAF) Work-Based Learning (WBL) Office at NBHS Internship Details: Positions are project-based and aligned with specific career themes. Internships are temporary , requiring a minimum of 120 hours.

Successful completion will fulfill both the WBL internship and NBHS credit requirements. Work schedules will vary based on the nature and scope of the assigned project. SALARY For the 2026-2027 school year, the pay rate is $16.94/hour.
