Accountant

Description We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a close-knit accounting team. This role will take ownership of key accounts receivable and billing functions, including monthly invoicing and check processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and hands-on experience with Viewpoint Pro. Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage accounts receivable activities Prepare and process monthly customer invoicing Process checks and accurately record payments Maintain accurate and up-to-date AR and billing records Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies Monitor outstanding receivables and support timely collection efforts Reconcile AR-related accounts and assist with month-end activities Ensure accuracy and consistency across billing and payment processes Collaborate with other members of the accounting team and provide support as needed Requirements 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on accounts receivable and billing Viewpoint Pro.

Contractor software experience Strong understanding of accounts receivable, invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to independently manage responsibilities and prioritize deadlines Comfortable working in a small, collaborative accounting team
