As a Cook, you’ll play a vital role in creating meals that are not only delicious but also meet the highest nutritional and safety standards—bringing comfort, joy, and wellness to every person we serve. Whether you're working behind the scenes prepping ingredients or leading the kitchen in the absence of the Dining Director, your dedication and skill will shine in every dish.

What You’ll Be Doing: Cook with Purpose: Prepare and serve meals that meet dietary needs and doctor-prescribed guidelines—always following our menu and recipe standards. Create with Care: Present meals attractively, honor residents’ preferences, and ensure every dish is cooked to perfection (never under- or overdone).

Cater to Special Diets: Confidently prepare meals for residents with allergies, medical restrictions, or cultural/religious preferences. Follow the Standards: Practice food safety, portion control, proper storage, and cleanliness in everything you do. Lead When Needed: Step up and guide the kitchen team in the absence of the Dining Director or Supervisor.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with front-of-house staff and maintain professional communication at all times. Stay Flexible: Adapt to changes in schedules, menus, and resident needs with a positive attitude. Maintain Cleanliness: Sanitize surfaces, wash dishes, dispose of waste properly, and keep your station sparkling clean.

What You Bring to the Table: A passion for cooking and serving others Knowledge of safe food handling, dietary restrictions, and balanced nutrition Ability to follow standardized recipes and written instructions Attention to detail and commitment to quality in presentation and taste Team-player mindset with strong communication skills Dependability—you show up on time and ready to work Willingness to jump in wherever needed Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs Remain on your feet for most of the shift Perform repetitive tasks (chopping, scooping, bending, etc.)

Ability to read and write in English and follow verbal/written instructions Other Things to Know: You may be exposed to sharp kitchen tools, cleaning chemicals, and bodily fluids (PPE and safety training provided). You'll be expected to follow our company policies, dress code, and hygiene standards at all times. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role—perfect for someone who loves to cook and make an impact.
