About the role
As a (Senior) Consultant in our Market Access & Health Economics team, you will support pharmaceutical and Med. Tech clients turn evidence into patient access. You will lead workstreams, write and review reimbursement dossiers, develop and adapt budget impact and cost-effectiveness models and advise clients on pricing, reimbursement and evidence generation in Belgium.
We support clients throughout the market access journey. Our work covers strategy, pricing and reimbursement dossiers, individual revisions, literature reviews, health economic modelling, and managed entry agreements. We work in a wide range of therapeutic areas and technologies. You will join an experienced team and work directly with pharmaceutical and Med.
Tech clients, as well as with internal stakeholders.
What you will do
help clients develop evidence, pricing and reimbursement strategies from pre-launch through reimbursement and beyond. Lead reimbursement dossiers: manage dossiers for medicines and medical devices, from strategy and gap analysis to dossier writing and responses to questions from the authorities. Shape market access strategies: develop pricing and reimbursement scenarios, position products against the standard of care, and handling managed entry agreements, early access opportunities and lifecycle events such as individual revisions and off-patent measures.
Build and adapt health economic evidence: develop or adapt cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, conduct targeted and systematic literature reviews in a large range of therapeutic areas and evidence syntheses that meet Belgian HTA requirements. Prepare clients for Early and Fast Access: evaluate Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) reports and PICO scoping and align European and national evidence requirements.
Manage projects: plan activities, track budgets and timelines, ensure quality, and act as the day-to-day contact for clients. Support business development: contribute to proposals, credentials and client discussions, and identify new and follow-up opportunities. Coach and develop colleagues: guide analysts and consultants through on-the-job support, mentoring and quality review.
What you bring Education: a Master's degree or PhD in life sciences, pharmacy, health economics, (bio)medical sciences, economics or a related field. Experience: at least 3 to 5 years in market access and health economics, including budget impact analysis. This experience may come from consulting, the pharmaceutical and/or Med.
Tech industry, or a payer/HTA body. Belgian expertise: hands-on experience with Belgian pricing and reimbursement procedures (RIZIV/INAMI, FPS Economy). Modelling skills: advanced Excel skills. You can build, adapt and validate cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, including formulas, scenario and sensitivity analyses, and well-documented model structures.
VBA is a plus. Analytical and writing skills: you can critically review, interpret and synthesize scientific publications, clinical evidence and economic data. You can turn complex findings into clear, persuasive dossiers or reports content and strategic recommendations. Languages: fluency in English and in French and/or Dutch, with the ability to write and review dossiers and reports in French and/or Dutch.
Project management: experience managing several projects in parallel while meeting tight timelines and high-quality standards. You are someone who Is curious and rigorous, with close attention to quality and detail. Communicates clearly and diplomatically with clients and internal stakeholders. Enjoys teamwork and sharing knowledge.
Enjoys a hybrid way of working, combining work from home with regular time at the office. Works independently, takes ownership of results and solves questions proactively. Is comfortable with complex scientific, clinical, economic and reimbursement topics, and can turn them into practical recommendations for clients.
