Restaurant Sous Chef

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Restaurant Sous Chef to join our culinary team at the Ravenwood Golf Club Restaurant. This position is perfect for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is eager to contribute to a high-quality dining experience.

Responsibilities include

assisting with food preparation, kitchen organization, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards.

Essential Functions

Assist in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes in a timely manner Ensure food is consistently prepared and presented according to restaurant standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations Monitor food storage, rotation, and waste management to minimize costs and ensure freshness Assist in menu development, including daily specials and seasonal offerings as needed Uphold high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction Qualifications: Previous experience in a kitchen setting, preferably in a restaurant or golf club environment Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen safety Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Serv.

Safe certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Working Conditions ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements Able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Able to stand 100% of the time. Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water. Hourly rate commensurate with experience: $24.
