Key Requirements for Automotive Instructors 3+ years of Automotive Technician experience ASE certifications (G1, A6 required within first 3 months) EPA 609 certification (required within first 3 months) High school diploma/GED Great communication skills Proficient in technology OEM or equivalent industry-related training Teaching experience is a plus Key Responsibilities for Automotive Instructors Teach and provide hands-on training in Automotive Technology in our fully equipped facility Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum using our Blended Learning Model Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability through advising and mentoring Evaluate and communicate progress with students fairly and consistently Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance Maintain a professional, visitor-ready classroom environment Complete Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program Prepare students for a successful career in the field of Automotive Technology Why Join Us?
