Warehouse Associate, Abuja

Summary: This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and accuracy within the warehouse environment. The individual will be responsible for managing the flow of merchandise, ensuring proper documentation, handling, and storage of goods in compliance with established procedures. By upholding strict inventory controls, supporting stock accuracy, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace, the role contributes directly to seamless supply chain operations and customer satisfaction.

The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate records of merchandise entering and exiting the warehouse.
• Receive and document incoming shipments and returns with precision.
• Identify and report missing, lost, or damaged materials to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure all items are securely packed, properly labeled, and prepared for shipping.
• Handle all inventory with care to prevent damage or loss.
• Support warehouse organization in alignment with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional warehouse environment at all times.
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) principles when storing and issuing stock.
• Assist in preparing management reports on a regular basis.
• Participate in periodic spot checks and full stock-taking activities.
