Range Attendant – Full Time Position Summary: The Range Attendant maintains the golf practice facilities to the highest standards of appearance, cleanliness, and functionality. This position ensures practice areas are properly stocked and prepared throughout the day while delivering exceptional service to members and guests.

The Range Attendant supports daily golf operations and contributes to an outstanding practice and playing experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support the purpose and core values of the Atlanta Athletic Club. Maintain the driving range, short game areas, and practice facilities in a clean, organized, and member-ready condition. Collect, transport, distribute, and replenish range balls throughout the day. Set up practice stations and ensure range equipment and supplies are properly stocked.

Operate golf carts, tractors, ball pickers, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Wash and inspect range balls to maintain quality playing conditions. Monitor practice facilities and promptly address presentation, safety, and maintenance needs. Assist members and guests by providing friendly, professional service and information regarding golf operations and club amenities.

Retrieve, organize, and maintain carts and other practice facility equipment. Follow all Club policies, procedures, and safety standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Commitment to exceptional member service and teamwork. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound judgment. Ability to build positive relationships with members, guests, and team members. Physical Requirements Regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks.

Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity. Safely operate golf carts, tractors, ball pickers, and other golf facility equipment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license. Previous golf course, hospitality, recreation, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
