• Chatham, VA, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: $28.85 - $31.25Hourly, Job Shift: 1st Shift/Days, Job Category: Professional Services, Offering a $5,000 bonus! Location: Green Rock Correctional Center is a level 3 prison located in Chatham, VA. This program provides services to inmates who have volunteered to complete the Intensive Drug Treatment Program. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:15 am – 4:15 pm with a 1-hour lunch break Pay Rate: $28.846/hr. ($60,000 annually). Candidates with a CSAC, CADC, or equivalent license/certification are eligible for a pay rate of $31.25/hr. ($65,000 annually).

Discounts on wide array of services/entertainment nationwide The Counselor is responsible for: Facilitating group programming and meetings, individual counseling sessions, case management services, and clinical documentation.

Conducting comprehensive assessments and individual treatment plans within established timeframes. Participating in multi-disciplinary treatment planning, case reviews, and conferences. Working closely with the Virginia Department of Corrections personnel to ensure quality delivery of services and promote a healing environment.

*CA *CB Qualifications: Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field is required. State certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the state of Virginia or similar certification/license recognized by the Virginia Board of Professional Counselors is required within two (2) years of signing job description.
