Commercial Sales Support Specialist

We are looking for a Commercial Sales Support Specialist reporting out of our Covington Branch to help take us to the next level!

The Commercial Sales Support Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the commercial sales team by maintaining accurate project pricing, coordinating purchase order activities, verifying vendor confirmations, and assisting with inventory management. This position plays an important role in ensuring pricing accuracy, order fulfillment, and effective communication between sales, purchasing, vendors, and warehouse teams.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accurate information across company systems.

Qualifications

Support the commercial sales team by maintaining accurate pricing and purchasing records, coordinating purchase order reconciliation, and assisting with inventory activities to promote operational efficiency, reliable order fulfillment, and excellent customer service.

Enter and maintain project and job unit pricing within company systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all projects. Review and maintain purchase orders (POs) to ensure alignment with vendor confirmations. Identify and communicate discrepancies to the appropriate team member for resolution. Reconcile purchase orders, verify back-ordered items, and ensure freight charges are accurately assigned and documented.

This includes both warehouse and direct-ship purchase orders. Support inventory management activities by processing inventory transfers. Assist with the execution of inventory replenishment and allocation decisions while adhering to established inventory management strategies and guidelines. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the commercial sales team and overall business operations.
