Prep Academy Village Green is seeking a dedicated 9th–10th Grade English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned secondary instruction. Partner with SMART Management in our mission to provide a student-centered academic experience enriched by technology and Spanish language integration.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging secondary ELA lessons focused on literary analysis, structured writing, rhetoric, and state standards mastery. Culture & Support: Maintain a structured, respectful classroom environment; differentiate instruction for ESE, 504, and ELL scholars through required accommodations. Collaboration & Compliance: Participate in weekly coaching and PD; submit lesson plans and student data on time; maintain regular family communication.

Key Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Secondary Education, Language Arts, or a related field. Certification: Valid or eligible Florida Teaching Certificate in English (Grades 6–12). Clearance: Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening required. Preferred: ESOL/Reading Endorsements; Master’s degree; prior secondary teaching experience.
