• Kitchen Assistant to join our hard-working and professional 5* Hotel Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle supporting the operation in the kitchen, creating memorable and impressive experiences for our guests.

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

40 hours contract £12.71 per hour Will include evening and weekend shifts Use the industrial dishwashers to clean all crockery and chefs’ utensils Clean the Kitchen Areas following full Food Safety and COSHH guidelines Basic preparation of vegetables under the supervision of senior chefs Follow Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures Support the team and help colleagues where needed Natural passion and flair for the industry and food A calm mature approach Ambition to succeed at the highest levels Dedicated and an excellent team player with strong communication skills A resilient nature that thrives under pressure Ability to work unsupervised using own initiative when needed Training programs via internal & external professionals and access to online training facilities complimentary stay after probation period Staff and family rates on hotel accommodation and discounts on F&B Recognition programmes Uniform and meals provided whilst on duty and free parking
