Front of House – Klaserie, Mpumalanga Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and guest-focused Front of House candidate to join a luxury safari lodge in the Klaserie. This opportunity is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for guest relations, excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of luxury service standards.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and an exceptional safari experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests on arrival and ensure a warm, personalised and professional reception. Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs and general front-of-house duties. Manage guest enquiries, requests and feedback efficiently and professionally. Maintain excellent communication with housekeeping, kitchen, guiding and management teams.

Coordinate daily guest activities and assist with ensuring a seamless guest experience. Ensure all guest-facing areas are presented to the highest standards. Assist with meal service, hosting and other guest-related duties where required. Communicate special requests, dietary requirements and guest preferences to the relevant departments.

Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary. Assist with general administrative duties and maintain accurate guest information. Uphold the lodge's luxury service standards and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

Previous experience in a front-of-house or guest-facing role within a luxury lodge, hotel or similar hospitality environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A professional, friendly and approachable manner. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A genuine passion for guest service and hospitality.

The ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure. A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to assist across departments. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when required. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required. Knowledge of lodge operations and safari hospitality would be advantageous.
