About the role

Our Personal Care Workers provide assistance to our Home Care clients , ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices. These include: Personal care including personal hygiene, grooming and showering Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.

g. transport to appointments, help at home, domestic assistance - vacuuming, mopping, laundry, changing bed linen, essential meal preparation, grocery shopping assistance) Engaging in social activities as required About this location: In this role you'll be providing in-home care to clients across the Yarra Ranges Shire & City of Maroondah Council.

To be successful, you will have : Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualifications Minimum 6-12 months experience in a similar role (community setting highly desirable) Current First Aid & CPR certificate Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc) Police Check (valid within the last 3 years or willing to obtain) Australian drivers licence and your own vehicle.
