Maintenance Technician I Location: Hillsboro Townhouse Apartments 1600 East Hillsboro Street Eldorado, AR, 71730 Job Description: Hillsboro Townhouse Apartments is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our apartment community.

This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance issues and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Inspect apartments and common areas to identify and resolve maintenance issues. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and property standards. Assist with move-in and move-out inspections and repairs.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of maintenance issues efficiently. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills for work order management. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous maintenance experience preferred. Relevant certifications or licenses a plus.
