Area Translation Localisation Manager | High Wycombe (United Kingdom) | Full Time (40 Hours) | Permanent

· Intake of translation and interpretation requests

• Scopes and costs translation and interpretation projects
• Creates translation and interpretation orders
• Collaborates daily with the product management and production teams within the Communication and Publishing Department and, as needed, with other team members and Area departments concerning localisation elements of publishing and communication products: o Translation, language production, interpretation, text editing services
• Delivers completed localised assets to Production or, as requested, to other clients
• Maintains project lists and dashboards and monitors workflows
• Cooperates with Localisation Project Management Group at Church Headquarters on global Church products
• Other duties as assigned by the Area Translation Manager
• Strong commitment to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its mission.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 5 years of work experience in one or more of the following: translation, interpretation, localisation project management or comparable project management disciplines or related fields. Alternatively, a combination of education and experience for a total of 9 years.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills. Proficiency in a second language may be an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate successfully across language and cultural boundaries.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in industry standard project and translation management tools.
• Passion for high levels of customer service.
• Advanced knowledge of standard information processing and publishing tools.
