The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for overall operations and staff supervision in the Branch Manager's absence. Perform all essential function of any branch position as needed including processing transaction, loan interviewing, completing reports etc.

• Experience and knowledge to handle situations in a calm and resolute manner.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with Branch Manager about daily branch operations.
• Interview members for loan applications and assists with the loan process.
• Resolve member inquiries regarding credit union products or services.
• Provide excellent service to members.
• Perform basic teller or financial transactions.
• Explore opportunities to mentor employees.
• Supervise branch personnel in the absence of Branch Manager.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college level courses preferred.
• 3 years of customer service and cash handling experience.
• Previous experience with financial institution.
• Minimum 2 years in a team leadership role highly preferred.
