Client An existing ICG client is looking for QLD based Economic Consultant, to assist in the preparation of a major report on the topic of the economic trajectory and potential of the state of Queensland. The report will outline the scale of the opportunity, the investment the state requires to achieve it, the challenges, and, ultimately, Queensland’s role in the future of Australia.

Role Deliver a 50-70 page white paper ~A5 journal size with charts, infographics, illustrations, art work on the future of the Queensland State Work with a senior consulting partner on research and data ideas and key themes Suggested Contents: Size of the opportunity (economic analysis projecting forward current trends) Demographic shift Connectivity Agriculture – Resources Tourism Industry Sustainability The Olympics Longer term outlook Skills and experience required: PhD or equivalent qualifications in economic research Exemplary English skills (verbal and written) 10+ years Substantial experience as an economic researcher in Government, the private sector or academia Publication history Experience with media exposure Logistics Start date: Final draft completed pre-Christmas

• Manuscript deadline pre-Xmas, the report will be launched late February/early March 2023 and the author/s would be involved in the launch, both in presenting the report and media engagement Location: The client location is Queensland Rates: The fee to the consultant will be based on experience and level of expertise. Close date: No later than Monday 19 September 2022, 5pm AEST APT’s must be lodged within 48 hours. We will review all APT's and select the best 3 for the client.
