• Morristown, TN, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $18.16 - $20.69Hourly, Job Shift: 3rd Shift, Job Title: Machining Operator Supervised By: Team Leader Responsibility for directing others: None Summary of Position: This position is responsible for the set-up and operation of machining tools to perform repetitive machining operations. Essential Job Duties:
• The set-up and operation of machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations.
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Frequently moves/lifts up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Constantly position self to run/maintain machinery (stooping, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling).
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in proper manner at all times.

Qualifications

• Ability to work varying shifts and overtime.
• Ability to read and write the English language.
• Must be able to move about in and around machinery and between lines.
• Must have specific vision abilities to include: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
