We are currently seeking applications to fill the following job opening at Asahi Kasei Bioprocess where we sell Planova® virus removal filters and develops and manufactures related bioprocess equipment. Company: Asahi Kasei Bioprocess America, Inc. Job Description: Automation Engineering Intern Location: Glenview, IL Asahi Kasei Bioprocess America (AKBA) is seeking a motivated Automation Engineering Intern to support the design, development, and testing of automation systems and software used in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.

What You'll Do

Assist in developing and testing PLC, SCADA, and custom software applications. Support automation hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and system commissioning. Contribute to web-based application development using JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and SQL. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance and develop innovative solutions.

Gain hands-on experience with industrial automation technologies, including Rockwell Automation and Factory. Talk.

What We're Looking For

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Interest in industrial automation, programming, and software development. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn. Ability to work onsite in Glenview, IL. A collaborative, self-motivated attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.

Base Compensation is influenced by many factors including, but not limited to: time in the role, previous experience, skills, knowledge, performance, work requirements, internal equity, and business / economic conditions.
