Phlebotomist – Clinical Labs – Weekend
Job description
Work Schedule : This is a part-time, 60% FTE position. Scheduled hours are every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Holidays that fall on weekends are required. No on-call shifts required at this time. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Candidates must be available to complete full-time training Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, for a period of 6 to 8 weeks upon hire.
Pay : This position may be eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus. We are seeking a Phlebotomist – Weekend to: Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages.
Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling. Complete specimen receiving and specimen processing. Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system. Qualifications
