Accounts Payable Officer

Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: Foodservice, Value added (cooked) and Export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.

An opening exists for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries located in Lidcombe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry. Permanent full-time position Work schedule: 08:00am to 04:00pm What we can offer you? Check and match invoices with purchase order and delivery docket Scan meat delivery dockets into a shared folder Processing invoices into the system (Sage, Esker, Protrace) Ensure vendors’ payments are to date Prepare Automatic and manual payments Assist with month end – e.g. Accruals, ensure all missing invoices have been accounted for as per Statement, etc.

Resolve invoices issues Updating/maintaining and responding to vendor inquiries Identifying and posting invoices in the correct GL account Accounts Payable and Bank Reconciliation Check entries in vendor’s account weekly Posting & allocation of payments Raising credit claim/s Maintaining Company’s motor vehicles spreadsheet – updating Fuel cards, E-Tag, etc.

if required Opening a new vendor account as per Company’s procedure Raising Purchase orders and sales invoices if required Who are we looking for?
