Pediatric Certified Nursing Assistant

Ditmas Children's Nursing & Rehab as the first pediatric skilled nursing facility in Brooklyn, NY is looking for compassionate, certified, and highly engaged Nursing Attendants to assist with caring for children with healthcare needs. This job is responsible for for Activities of Daily Living (ADL) i.

e providing hygiene, assist with feeding, fixing/organizing clothing & personal belonging, playing with children, assisting with family needs & visitation, transporting to other areas of the facility and other healthcare activities on a daily basis i.e. suctioning, tracheoatomy care, etc. Night shift available.

Minimum qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent State certification as a Nursing attendant is a must Completion of nursing attendant program is a must Two years experience working with pediatric population is preferred Computer literacy, Math skills, good communication skills are a must Ability to handle, lift, pull, and push heavy objects is a must Knowledged of infection prevention is a must Knowledge of child abuse prevention is a must Work rotation on weekends and holidays is a must Benefits: **After 90 days of Full-time employment 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Compensation: Competitive compensation ranges from $17-$22 per hour.
