MRI Technologist Schedule: this is a full-time position that includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus (with a two-year service commitment) for qualified external candidates. How you’ll contribute An MRI Technologist who excels in this role operates magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in diagnoses and treatment of pathologies.

Additional responsibilies include: Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.

Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.

What we’re looking for Applicants should be graduates of an ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine. Additional requirements include: License/Certification: ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB registry in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine Registry required.

ARRT Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required (within 1 year of hire/transfer) If not ARRT(MR), then you must work under the supervision of an ARRT(MR) technologist until your ARRT(MR) is obtained.
